Nepal had no past and no future
by hari ray on Apr 21, 2008 11:44 AM   Permalink | Hide replies

The left leaning author is right that elite and corrupt politicians of Nepal did little for the common folks and that paved the way for Maoists. However, Maoists are goons with a defunct ideology and they will now stay on and on because commies lust for power is endless. The end result is Nepal will be another China sans development. Why? The current lot of Maoist leaders reminds me of AASU leaders of Assam who were fireband but with no expertise to govern.

Sadly, Nepal has and will continue to supply maximum girls to India's flesh trading market. WB ranks second in that today and will continue to do that. Both will be red states.

you may comment a country's past, but you can't anticipate it's future, especially when the majority of the country's nation made their own choice to select Maorist. only history will tell.
