do you really think the world political leaders wont know wats happenin in tibet n only by this agitation they would know? if it is s then u must b really insane.. the target audience of this agitation r ppl like u n the dumb celebs worldwide. if these tibetans r really men enough to fight for their freedom as they are claiming them self's to be they will be fighting from their homeland as true sons of the soil, rather these tibetans are enjoying the refugee status around the world n enjoying the benefits from the charity funds. for which is why they are creating this propaganda stunts to extract more funds which indirectly exploiting local taxpayers. and do u also think that these tibetans who r creating troubles in the name freedom in india, US, UK, France will leave these countries n go to tibet if they get freedom n serve dalai lama? if u think they would, then their agitation is a real success with ppl like u....

Tibet is not sitting on any oil reserves, nor does it have tons of uranium reserves etc, which does not make it as one of the coveted nations in the world. With all natural resourses depleted & a barren land unfit for even cultivation, which western power is willing to sacrifice its men & money trying to defend freedom & democracy in Tibet.

Because that pea size Kuwait has billions of barrels of oil as reserve, the US led forces wanted to or rather LIBERATE this third rated Arab country like Kuwait which has no Human rights & abuses it to the limits. Similar is the case with all these moronic Arab countries, US & the Western forces are very worried about their sovernity & security & will fight it to the finish.

Like I say, when Rwanda was attacked & a million souls were killed , all US did was to paste a protest note on the UN's official Bill Board.

Same is the case with the Sri Lankan Tamils, they have nothing material to offer to the WEst, so the Sinhala slaughter them with impunity, and the murdered tamils are called terrorists. But then didnt Margaret Thatcher called Nelson Mandela a terrorist and support the apratheid govt ? I guess human rights are subjective, if it is in our favour then it is genocide, atorcity etc. if not the victims are terrorists out to disrupt our wealthy lives.

Tibet covers such a huge area that has been so little explored that your statements regarding mineral and other reserves does not merit consideration! The whole plateau like the Himalayan range rose to its present geographical height due to the collision of the tectonic plate comprising the Indian subcontinent with the Asian. Maybe China realizes the potential of Tibet. It is not for nothing that China has developed good channels of communication between Tibet and mainland China.
