India is doing the right thing

Its best to abstain and keep surviving till the end rather than create more enemies. Working with a successful force is a good idea. That gives gains. India`s stand is very correct in regards to China. Or else US could have simply created another war between India and China by now. I am not communist and I dont support any political view. Going by rediff`s users ways some smartass is sure to reply with some shit to my opinion.

yes, we should keep quiet if china is willing to keep quiet on kashmir, but China has never called kashmir an "internal" affair of India, it always refers to kashmir as a regional "Indian AND Pakistani" issue. So, when I see India chickening out simply because Indians like you are scared of a war, I feel sad that we even bother fighting so many wars, getting independence and standing up to get freedom, all was a waste.

In fact, to give a tit-for-tat response, India should even have defence ties with Taiwan, like China has with Pakistan. But, Indians dont have the balls for that. We're too scared.

As far as having another war with China, trust me, China has a lot to lose today with foreign investment etc. if there is a war and India is no longer a roll-over anymore.

Sir its not about war....as i said progress is more important and India can get more of it by working with China not against it. By giving an opinion on Tibet, China can get offended and that interest(progress) can get hampered. I am not saying India is weak or we chicken out fearing loss at war. I`m simply saying we choose progress instead of war and by not saying anything on tibet we are acheiving exactly that. Why create enemies when you can move forward by making friends..... We are not saying anything on tibet so how are working with or against Tibet? why do you think we are compelled to hold a stand on Tibet?
