Why she met Nalini in Vellore Jail? Want to see the reaction and emotions of a jail bird. Still India is in hand in glove with Sri Lanka. Then what is the purpose of seeing a conspirator/jail bird?

Another reason could be that there are large Tamil population is Karnataka and the Congress party is eying their votes. By visiting Nalini in the Jail, they are trying to influence the Tamil voters.
