If you see history there has been a lot of attcks against muslims around the globe.
vis,..For them WESTERN Attacks on Muslims since 1908 that killed 5 million in Ottoman lands, 1 Million In Iraq, 2 Million in Algeria, 2 Million in Afghanistan, 100000 in Palestine, 400000 in Chechenya, 200000 in Bosnia, and another 1 Million in Iraq.
Its the frustrated youths and their corresponding generations who are carrying the so called terrorism.Its natural human reaction and nothing related to ISLAM.
Why ISLAM is been attcked can be answered by only those who are against it.Its simple that if allowed to go on will destroy all other religions.And it was needed to show to the world that its an evil religion.But those who were trying to portray ISLAM in bad light is counting the number of converts around the world.After 9/11 within 2 months 20000 americans converted to ISLAM.coz after that sad episode ppl started knwiong this religion and tried to understand it.Those who are sying its a bad religion atleast read it once and come to a conclusion.Dont be afraid you will surely convert from falsehood to truthood.

It seems it is impossible to convince Muslims that they should denounce terrorism. They only justify that. So only solution is invade all the hardline Muslims states, impose democracy and secularism. Further those states should be monitered by the foreign armies whether they enforce secularism sincerely or not. Even countries like Malaysia and Indonesia must be invaded and secularism must be imposed.

All those killings by the West were not due to religious reasons. For example Japan, a Buddhist nation, joined WW II due to industrial reasons. But today they changed.
Now the westerners admit that colonialism was bad. In fact Hitler indirectly responsible for the collapse of colonialim. Today Germans don't justify Nazi Hitler, Italians don't justiry fascist Mussolini.
But Islamic Jihad is rooted in religion, so you are unable to denounce it.
