It is same problem with wikipedia where lot of historical content is interpreted based on western or foreign notions of history. It is very interesting to re-discover the history of Ram for e.g. I used the net to quench my query from which place did Ravana kidnapped Sita..and based on info available on net, it came out to be in present Andhra Pradesh near the banks of Godavari. It is about effort of re-discovering ourselves with effort than rejecting oneself into what is preached.

I completely agree with you. Some of the so called "educated" people have trouble in re-discovering our own land's heritage, Though same people don't have any trouble in accepting the west's view of what India was.
