RAM
by Jaffer Ali on Apr 14, 2008 03:34 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

RAM has existed no question about, he was a powerful king who used Arrows in metal, during his period others used arrows in wood. The question here is how he became GOD. According Veda's GOD is omnipotent and it preaches only one GOD.

If we believe Allah exists then don't ask abt Shri Ram's existence.

You hve to believe it or else ...Just leave it at that..It doesn't effect us(Hindus) Arguement is not encouraged..

Harish, here the matter is not about existence but about worshiping. Once its not to hurt the sentiments, my point is that Vedas are telling that GOD is omnipotent but present day Hinduism have multiple GODS. I hope all you Hindus still believe vedas but how many of you read it??

take ur point..It is bcoz of external influence..If we start sanskrit in schools these Secular netas say it is a BJP agenda..Then who is going to read these scriptures if we don't know sanskrit. The Hindu nation and its spirit is getting spoilt in this politics of psedo-secularism..Congress Govt was in power when Sikhs were brutally murdered ..And BJP was in power at the time of Babri masjid demolition...So both are the faces of same coin..

We hve no multiple gods. God is one and he's Lord Vishnu.

All others are demigods except for Lord Shiva and Brahma who created everything on instruction of God.

Not to hurt sentiments as you said..God descended as an avatar ..There are 12 till now including Lord Rama and Lord Krishna..& this happened in Hinduism ...Islam - Prophet said that he was messenger of Allah..And Jesus Christ also siad the same.

thats Shri Ram
... his arrival was prophecied much before his incarnation

Gyan, I am not here to hurt the sentiments, GOD will never born as human, GOD has no birth or death. This is what the Vedas telling, the Vedas and Koran telling the almost the same, GOD is omnipotent. If that is mentioned in Veda's Avtar means [Prophets] then he should be a messenger to GOD, a man should not be worshiped.
