I want to know why there is a competition for backwardness... Perhaps India is the only place where there is competition for backardness...So much effort for being recognised as a backward...save the time for competing rather than begging....Beggars

Krishna. Instead of spilling your frustration about brahmins, why dont you point to a solution so that we can make better use of the internet, rediff's servers and our times. We all know you are frustrated, you dont have to shocase it with your words.

But why are you competing for being backward ??? Do you find some kind of romance inside with backwardness ???? What happened 2000 yrs ago is no way relevant with present. It happened during the days of monarchy and currently we are living in democracy...hope you are aware of it...Happy Begging

There are No bramins in thousands of TN Villages, still caste discrimination against Dalits goes unchecked.

There are no bramins in Pakistan, still the dalits there are treated worse than dogs. Why?

Its human psychology. Everone wants to be superior to the other. This psychology is the root to all evil. The solution is only a STRONG leader. A leader who will stand in the middle of all this crap and control people with strong decisions. We need a good justice system too, but I doubt our justice system. After all the justice system is also made of people and people discriminate.
We need a better police system, I doubt this system too. We have seen in Bihar how police belonging to one cast behave with people from other cast. We just need better people. Our key lies there! And in todays India IT IS IMPOSSIBLE. Its good to say impossible is nothing, even impossible says I M possible. But the reality is "impossible" does exist.

Most Kshatriyas and Vaishyas get classified as OBCs. In TN for example OBCs are erstwhile rulers.

In Bihar, traders get classified as OBCs. Same story in Gujarat.
