I am disappointed at the verdict of the SC. I would thought they would be wise enough to tell Indians that reservations based on 'castes' should be done with. Now we have some oximorons like 'dalit christians' or 'dalit muslims'. The division perpetuates. This country will NEVER become a super power until we abolish castes and give reservations based on need.

which morons stand in the queue and beg the government to issue toilet tissue certificate called caste certificate?? Certainly not the forward castes. Its the people from backward and most backward and oBC's who would insist on getting the used toilet tissue certificate called caste certificate. the more its used the better it gets, and then you poor sods cry caste discrimination.Stop asking the government to issue the toilet tissue certificate NOW. Fools. The list of backward caste etc is ever increasing.people are killing each other to get their caste included in the backward list.

The old adage come to my mind - The wolf cries that the sheep is drenching in rain. Here is another wolf that cries about caste inequality.
If casteism is stopping us from becoming a super power, then is 'Iyengar' a honorary doctorate conferred on you by a foreign universtity? What a joke!
Caste doesn't go away by preaching to others, but by individuals shunning their castes. It won't even go away by not using caste names, because casteism is only a mental disease. If ever you are really serious about abolishing caste, it will happen by creating a new generation of Indians, who would not be able to say to which caste they belong to. Inter caste marriages are the only solution. So, when your son or daughter reaches marriage age, make it a thumb rule, to seek alliance only from outside your caste. I am not suggesting to go down right to the bottom of the society. There are prosperous candidates in other castes, equal or better than you, in educational and economical status.
If this suggestion does not appeal to you, then we go back to the adage - The wolf cries...

I have a small suggestion. There is other way that this can happen The people from so called oppressed communities who have advanced or achieved development in educational, economical and social levels can say we do not want reservations.we are now forword communities let others from our background take a chance. I think tat this is more apt for the current situation. As you have just mentioned. Even with out seeing the other person you are commenting on his history So who is the wolf now
