OBC reservation is useless for them
by baljeet dhjk on Apr 13, 2008 02:15 AM   Permalink | Hide replies

Every second day new caste is to OBC in most of states. Like in rajasthan only 25% population is general anyway.50% are OBC. Most of them are well off. If you are SC/ST u get benefit of quota.OBC are competing amomg themselves. We should brahmins and everybody in OBC also.

Basically It will negates all the benefits to OBC. I am Software engineer I studied in private college working for private company and doing good.

OBC popultaion not only thing but the population of in education
10th class figures in rajisthan is 68% general abd rest is reserved so the competion starts getting easier for OBC right here and difficult for general

and 12th class is much worse more than 80% student population is general and it keeps on incresing percentage wise as we go up making avalibily of a seat in IIM for eg near about 10-15 times easier for an OBC and SC and about 20 times easier for an ST as compare to a general candidate

remember we are a democratic country every one should have equal right

also his father is a big jeweller
clear example of misuse

Oneof my family friend is a Chief Manager in Hindustan Aeronautics (HAL).
He belongs to Scheduled caste. He came from one of the very backward village, did his Engineering in 1972, he was the first in his cast to do that(in the whole district) He did not used his SC status during studies but with hard work and his teachers (Brahmin) support.
He did not used this quota for his sons either..

Adding to this glory, his 2 sons also such challenging peole, they became Engineers, one is in USA anther in UK.

I have kept his photo in my house and salute him almost every time I see that.

In my view he is supposed to be a Idol & model for all these quota seekers.
