Ok. Justice is served! All are happy. Well, not all - The upper caste leaches are fuming out of every hole in their body. But do we care? In the matter of reservation as a means to attaining societal equality, no justice is a delayed justice. So, it's time to quickly wrap up the celebrations, and think of the next step.

As everybody agrees, reservation alone will not bring that equality. All societal maladies are due to lack of basic education. Caste system thrives in it. In fact, the very infusion of caste system upon us is to keep the majority away from education. So, caste system and education are inversely proportional.

Hence, the need of the hour is compulsory primary education for the masses. It is also the only solution to eliminate the OBC discrimination of SC/STs. It is true that OBCs want to be treated as equal to upper castes, but don't like to treat SC/STs as their equals. Primary education is the only measure that will diminish this inhibition. It is also the only way to churn up more numbers to fill up the 27% reservation in higher education.

Reservation is seen to be an vote-bank political gimmic. In actuality, not providing compulsory basic education is the dirty politics played by all political parties in India. Because, once the masses get educated, the politicians are the first ones to get affected.

It's time for OBCs to seek compulsory primary education.
