These evolved due to choice of profession in village settings in olden times...

Eg. the Goldsmith - OBC
Blacksmith - OBC
Lathe machine user - OBC
Carpenter - OBC

It will not be long when Brahmins will be the scavengers in India. In fact, in Kerala this already a reality
