Is it not unfair to remove some of the shortlisted candidates, who have come to this stage through merit and are going to be replaced with undeserving reservation candidates?

Nothing will be done to admissions of meritorous students; they however will have to pay full fees.
Some dumb students will be added to the batch and they will enjoy brand IIM free of cost.
I do not know why IIM cannot oppose such moves; it is supposed to create the best managers but does not show any responsiblity or leadership skills when needed by society.

I think there was some opposition from IIMs and IITs when this law was passed some time ago. But, they are nothing in front of the government.
