lot of people seem to be against the decision. Why do people want reservation in education?.... so that they can get good jobs and earn a lot. presently a well experienced sweeper cannot earn as much as a fresh engineer. so the sweeper aspires to be an engineer, but he has not been trained from birth to take the entrance exams as present engineers are (IIT-JEE, CAT, GATE etc). So the only way is thru reservation. The only other way to lift the sweeper is to give him the salary equivalent to the senior most doctor in india.Are we ready for that?????? what happened to dignity of labour????? Think .... guys... think.....till then, reservation is the only answer..

Why reservation? Why study in IIT, IIM etc...? Government and Suprement Court would directly pay them huge salary to all OBC, SC and ST people. For example ...
OBC should get 50 Lacs/month SC should get 80 Lacs/month ST should get 20 Lacs/month
This is the way we can uplift the society. Please don't think from where the money will come. If you go to think that then Reservation will also be question.
Think my dear !! Think my dear !!!. Reservation is a joke and our Supreme court is bound to give it based on our Consitution.
This is one place where I believe that Supreme Court is not correct and their decision is not alwasy correct. Anyway, we are bound to be in law as per consitution but in this way only problem will come. Look for some ideal situation. Even people does not know the defination of Creamy Layer but they know the meaning of OBC, SC and ST.

get the mindset that an iit engineer is as important as the cook who feeds him, the driver who takes him to work, the labourer who laid the road for him to go to work, the farmer who made the grub, the so called filthy sc who removes shit to manure the field . without all these links an iitian is as good as dirt and I am an iitian myself.

I think you r right, "SHREE KRISHNA " , too states in the Geeta that "Yogah Karmasu Kaushalam". i.e. exellence in work is yoga itself. One should always be paid for one's expertise and just not for the cast.
