'What crime have I commited?' will be the question a father will have to answer his son/daughter if she fails to get admission even after securing a distinction. Right before him another student with barely 40% will get in but not him. Then what answer will the father have? You are born of a wrong caste? Mahatma Gandhi wanted to eradicate 'caste system' but now the politicians are dividing the country on caste basis. Purely merit and merit alone can bring glory to our Country and I can only pity the brilliant students who get sidelined due to 'caste' and 'economic status'. May God help them.

Caste system is the best system of the universe.. It is an eternal law... What is not an eternal law is inherited discrimination... We can live with dharma of our respect castes, and excercise morality... I would not wanna be raised not knowing my dharma.... Am i a brahmin, or kshatriya, or vaishya, or shudra would only identity crisis as in western society... Respect all castes, but do not forget it.. Remember, it was our caste system which protected us from communism... So all you anglized Indians who think caste system is an evil system need to finally take a look at it again rather than following your masters in foriegn land... Culture revolution cannot happen in India as it happened in CHINA.. no government can enforce their ideology on Indians as China could do... Personally, I am sick of people who arrogantly say caste is an evil system without ever noticing the essense of it...
