What a shame
by BS Srinivas on Apr 10, 2008 03:22 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

People who are in reservation for last 60 years still wants to be called themselves backwards. They do not want to become forwards at all. This can happen only in India, If things continue like this and present politicians are voted again and again, a day will come when 90% of Indian population will want to be backward? Who can change this? It is you and us the common men/ citizen of Hindustan, We can change all this only if every one of us cast their votes in an election and see that the dirty politicians irrespective of their party affiliations are not elected. All resident welfare associations accross the country shold field their own candidate without a party affiliation, in the forthcoming election and see that every literate in their constituency vote for this candidate. Use electronic media, SMs and other modes to motivate people to vote for such candidate. This can happen in Karnataka for the begining as elections are announced in this state. Only then we can see a country without reservation.

Mr. Tamil, backwardness is not created by social status, but financial status. If people become financially strong, why would people still remain in the "backward classes"?

In India it the other way round. Every one wants to be backward. Trust you remember the recent agitation by the Gujjars in Rajasthan.

90% is already backward. In TN, 96.5% of the population has now become backward. So the remaining 3.5%, who are Brahmins, have to leave. Soon, Christians will also leave. Allahu Akbar.
