We all know that every bit of this is vote bank politics. But that is the matter of choice for all the parties. If a party does not support quota it will soon be in oblivion forget about coming to power. Democracy is ruled not only by majority but also by a unified and directed majority which is the case with SC/ST and OBS and not with Brahmins or general class. So don't crib.
