This must be the blackest day in the history of the nation. The issue has been settled on utter falsehoods and blatant lies. Last 1000 years India was under foreign rule and Moghuls were not interested in education. The Britishers introduced McCalayian education which was OPEN TO ALL. If u stayed away, it's ur choice. To blame the Brahmins and upper castes for that is sheer nonsense. There was never a reservation in favour of upper castes to justify the comment'u enjoyed it for 5000 years.'To kill the meritorious in the country is to kill its future. The survey in ET revealed that most of the OBCs were better off than the upper castes. The OBCs control the economy, the Government and now want the top jobs, without deserving it. A democracy survives and flourishes on the health of its institutions. The parasite politician has successfully prostituted every single institution in India and the last bastion of rectitude was the judiciary and he was vocally very sore about it. Now that too has fallen. India's freedom was gained by the blood, sweat and tears of the so called upper castes, so much so, the Britishers hated the Brahmins. The fruits of the independence are now cornered by the very people who supported the masters or who preferred not to get their heads and hands bloodied. Bury meritocracy, long live mediocrity, the country deserves much more for having these third rate politicians with brains of an ass, who prefer guys of equal standard everywhere. No wonder!
