lingam means symbol, in sankrit!! not a sexual organ..oops how can i expect a muslim to know that....
let me accept the followers of tantra do think lingam means sexual organ, but it is not mainstream Hinduism, most of the Hidnus follow Vedas, so Shiva lingam means symbol of Lord Shiva, can you desribe the form of shiva linga , nope it is not a circle, it is not a square..it is a form beyond your comprehension, a undecribable symbol to undescribable GOD ( if he exists)...

in Hinduism , GOD has to be ralised, for every Hindu it is a personal journey to find the unknown, NOT to follow teachings of warmonger,terrorist peadophile murderer or NOT to follow some old books..hope this helps dear mohammed

WHAT IS SHIVA LINGAM ?? PLEASE KNOW THE TRUTH
lingum is sanskrit for emblem/symbol. shiv lingum means the sacred mark of shiva. The full word runs as "Jyothirlingam" means the Lingam in the form of jyothi, i.e. the flame. If you see any candle burning, the flame gets an oval-cylyndrical shape and Shiva or Mahakaal could not be given any face and the people started making the shape of the "jyothi" or the light.
Over the years, invaders and non-Hindus converted the same and used it for their advantage and also many Hindus are to blame for this, as they have failed effectively in countering this propaganda.
PS Please dont think that lingum in this case means sex organ
