Weak Leadership
by lion king on Apr 07, 2008 02:49 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

Without meaning to sound disrespectful, i sincerely believe that the hounourable Dalai Lama has failed to provide an effective leadership to the Tibetian people. His persona is extremely mild, and though that is indeed a great hum,an quality, .. unfortunately, that does not make him an effective leader.

The reason is for all to see.... and even the younger Tibetians are now not ready to follow his advice. The Dalai Lama should recognise, that not everybody (and specially the chinese goverment) is as saintly as he is. The chinese are simply waiting for the day when the Dalai Lama would go on to the other world... and they can try and impose their will on the selection as well as actions of the next Lama. The Dalai Lama should realise, that whatever chance Tibet has of gaining some kind of autonomy will have to happen in this lifetime of his..!! after that, there is no hope ..!!!
