Hi Adarsh,
As per my opinion, act Indian government can not support Tibat openly coz in India there are already disputes over Jammu & Kasmir and Arunanchal Pradesh. If it raised voice for Tibat, China and pakistan will start questioning for these two states. So for indian govt. its better to wait and watch policy.

As for the Question of J&K it is like this. Kashmir got married with India with her full consent so it is a legal marriage by any any yard stick. While in the case of Tibet, China abducted and raped Tibet and now threatening that unless everyone give a recognition to the ralationships it will not approve the marriage of anyone else. But the trouble is legally married couples are getting cold feet.

In fact China is suffering from a pernicious lack of confidence, especially regarding the relationship with Tibet even after subjugating her over half a century.
