Why Hogenakkal Drinking Water project came in need??
by Freedom on Apr 05, 2008 02:33 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

As Bangalore and other smaller cities realase gallons of polluted waste water into its nearby water bodies, the underground water and small rivers strectching into North-Western TN is severly polluted giving no chance for the people there to use the water from this resources.

Even this Hokenakkal project is suppose to be implemented as alternative drinking water supply to this AFFECTED poor North-Western TN districts.

So who the culprit here???

karnataka is no issues provided the project is carried out wel within TN rather than disputed land on border. Y has is chosed the border which is still in dispute and there is no clear line differentiating TN and karnataka.
