Here Tibet is revolting against the Chinese Govnt. Every news paper, every news channel shows it all, but when the people of Palestine revolt against the USA and Israel against the tortue and the inhuman act against them, not one will give a ear, no one is even bothered. The UN is blind folded and not even interested to resolve issues. Palestine is a poor country with no arms no army, still the USA and Israel is having huge air strikes and killing 1000 every day.
To what is happening in Tibet and to the people there, is not even 1% to whats happening to the Palestinians.

The palestinians have always stood for violence unlike the tibetians. They encouraged the Jews into Jerusalem and into their marshlands and once the jews started making good progress in economic and personal front they wanted their land back and this has led to all the trouble....

Before 1967 Arab - Israel war, Palestine was part of Syria, why did not the Syrians give palestine independence? Why was there no demand for independent palestine back then.
Actually Jews are like Tibetans. They were kicked out by the Romans from the middle east 2000 years ago and Jews wandered all over europe seeking protection. They prospered where ever they went and this upset the europeans, who prosecuted them. It was the world war which brought back their homeland to them.
May be Tibet has to wait another 1900 years before they get back their home land.

Dear Ahmed- Israel and Palestine conflict is older than Jesus' time. Of all the conflicts which will never see a solution, the Palestinian one is a case in point. This is because both parties believe in the principle ' an eye for an eye'. I had a good Palestinian colleague in Sharjah, I told him that till a point that both parties act tough it will not be possible to bring any peace. Tibetans if you notice are largely peaceful people hence your 1% theory does not hold true. Tibet is much much large in area than Palestine. The Palestinian issue can be resolved by the Arab countries alone, but you will agree that all Arab countries are great supporters of the UK and USA. If there is a larger enemy of the Palestinians, then it is the Arab countries. Because they are not doing anything to support their Arab brothers, which is a shame. An unknown enemy is better than a known Friend.
