Look at this irony - Karnataka and Tamil Nadu two of the most industrially and economically well-off states boasting of engineers, doctors, and intelligent people are at each others throats for water - an issue that needs to be resolved around a negotiating table with dignity and decorum is being shamelessly exploited - what do these idiots hope to gain ? has the problem been solved by breaking a few homes ? has the water table risen in parched areas of Tamil nadu ? will this help the underdeveloped areas of interior Karnataka ?

Raja - both irate and irritated - its disgusting indeed - in the US the major river Mississippi - Missouri river system is shared by several states without much fuss - whatever issues exist they are solved thru strictly business deals - and both the US and Canada share the waters of the great Lakes responsibly - no wonder they are developed
and here, we are squabbling shamelessly over an issue that needs both short-term and long-term concrete solutions - not stupid, dumb acts of violence
we will all see the drama of filmstars voicing their protests which will be shown on TV - ppl from both states will have their stupid share of star-gazing! leaders will make funny statements and the problem will have a temporary 'end' with noone willing to address the urgent need for drawing plans to make proper use of the waters and share them responsibly!
this country has no hope - 60 years of Independence, and this is the maturity we display - perhaps we need to be ruled by a dictator

tell ur tamil recruiters why only recruit tamils and gives empty hand to others. First stop this sh*t and implement SHARE the opportunities. Tell same to ur tamil ministers to share the projects across all the states. there are many states other than TN.

dont blabber some bull shit out of your mouth. there are plenty of non-tamils in HCL. There are too many kannadigas working for Infosys, but it doesnt mean it is focusing on that. You first try to be competitive and broad minded really before pointing others. I am an outsider working here in Chennai. I could see plenty of kannadigas working in the software comapnies here an not been targette for whatsoever reason. 99% of what you guyz have written is not the fact, ever north indian guy here speaks hindi. when the north indian guys want others to speak hindi, whats wrong in tamils interested to speak in tamil within themselves.
