Has anybody visited to Mauritius? And visited one of the Tamil temple, and chat with the local there.
I was surprised to hear that some people with obvious Kanadagese, malayalee and even Telugu name says they are Tamils.
I think, it must be due to fact that the South Indian there migrated before the linguistic states were created here, and all came from the Madras presidency of that time.
Or maybe, also south Indian there are a minority, and the biharis are the majority- so these South Indian migrant have group together under the label of Tamils.
Do we tell have them of the lingusitic divison here ?
