Hogenekal
by Muniasamy Gurusamy on Apr 03, 2008 12:51 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

Kartnataka politicians behave as such they are in a separate country. TN is not asking for additional water for this drinking water project. Other than election agenda, is there any other reason for opposing this project.

Gurusamy :

Have you ever visited Karnataka, Hogenakal especially ?. Its is part of Karnataka and Karunanidhi wants use the area which belongs to Karnataka. MK is just raking-up the issue sfor political benefits, knowing well that AIADMK and BJP are closing and his own allies are likely to desert DMK. Water has been a very emotional issue betwen the two states for a long time. But the timing, means and language Karunanidhi is using to gain votes is deplorable and is most condmnable. Does he know that in Bangalore alone there are a couple of million Tamils live and if goes to brink, their safety may be in jeopardy ?. Votes can take the dirty politicians to any extent and any low...

Rajesh, I have visited Hogenakkal umpteen times and I will say it is an integral part of TN. Just having a kannada name doesnt mean it belongs to you. Even Supreme Court had ruled in TN's favour. But then, when did you guys respect supreme court or tribunal's decision?

Dear Rajesh,

I have visited Hogenegal several Time and assure it is a part of Tamil Nadu, the Other bank of Cauvery in Hogenekal belongs to Karnataka which is known as Marukottai. I would reqeust you to go and visit the Map and check with the Survey Nos. before writing these craps.

In fact the Karnataka Officials never dared to visit this place till 2004, the time Veerappan was klilled by TN Police. If you go over there you could find more TN Tourism Development Outfits than that of Karnataka.

Now when they don't have any issues, they rake up these issues and create problem. These sort of actitivites clearly shown the Xenophobic attitude of Kannadigas.

Please understand, it is people from TN, once used to address outside people as INDIANS. Had banned Hindi National Channels.
Now, when they could not survive in TN, they are spreading like Dengue, Malaria in other states. Cartoon character like CM of TN can only create mess....

deepak can you please stop spreading wrong information. No hindi channel is banned in TN. Ganges is the source for dengu and malaria. Look at good science research journals. I can give you proof. It was clearly written that cholera originated in ganges during Kumbh Mela.

Mr Kumar,
I am not telling present scenario. Earlier, the said situation was there in TN. Why karunanidhi is not taking up any issue with other border states like AP and Kerala. ! Because he knows, his ass would be torn apart if does the same. I have high regards for people of TN. But this bugger is playing dirty politics with all indians.

Dear Deepak,

How many times have you visited TN? We don't need to prove we are Indians by learning Hindi. In fact, if you look at the Constitution of India, there are 18 Languages listed as Indian Natioanl Language and English& Hindi as Official Languages. Tamil is also one of 18 National Languages listes in the Constitution.

BTW, When I want to go to Bengal/Gujarath and start business or working, i need to learn the local Language. It is a stupidity in my part to expect them to speak in Tamil. Like wise when you comedown here, pls. try to speak the language which we speak. In fact no one longs for Deepak to visit TN.
