Hogenakkal project

Dear friends who oppose this Hogenakkal scheme,
Do you know which state is going to face elections now? Do you know who has instigated this recent unrest? B.S.Yeddyurappa,who was in the chief miniaster's chair for just a week, appeared desperate to work up an emotive election-eve campaign. The key fact is that the two states reached an agreement in 1998 that they would not oppose each other's drinking water scheme. Tamilnadu withdrew its objection to the diversion of cauvery water for the Bangalore drinking water scheme on the understanding that Karnataka would not oppose the Hogenakkal drinking water scheme. This Yeddyurappa doesn't have any positive points to meet the elections. So as usual they try to instigate violence across the state to get some cheap political mileage.

politicians lie to conceal the truth, artists lie to reveal the truth. The situation in India is especially bad in India due to lack of education and lots of poverty. As long as we continue to have both of these, we will face more such stunts as people are easily excited and are very sensitive. Yes it is a stunt by Yediyurappa to whip up support but TN is not blameless, Karuna deliberately spoke harshly so that Krishna can step in as a saviour coz Krishna paid lots of personal money during the Verrappan saga.
