He is the master mind of biggest stock scam in Indian history and he got only one year jail for his crime. Because of many him and his gangs many Indian committed suicide or ruined and destroyed. Is his crime less than any other terrorist of todays? But he is never labelled a Traitor or a Terrorist.

Lol @ Nation for having such a great mind to understand the larger issue in calling own fellow citizen a terrorist and use soft words for same crime if the person belongs to own community(applies to all Hind/Muslim).

@kabeer: your point is valid to an extent ! However the indian financial system had this scam coming because of mismatch in depository/clearance systems ... this scam led to increased survellince in broking, lesser capital for banks to lend on share, higher margining ....
And he already has spent a lot of time in jail !
Even the elder Memon brother, responsible for bomb blasts, was given bail because of ill health ... thats a real terrorist
But having said that, no sympathy at all for ketan parekh

The reasoning you gave is very much valid. I raised the question that's why you went behind the scene and found the reason. Wouldn't be better before labelling a community and or an individual we should also try to find the reason of their acts. What we do here we label each other terrorist, accuse and blame our own fellow citizen without going in to the reason.
In my view a SIMI/Naxal/Bodo or individual like Ketan Paresh fall in the same category. Oe es bomb to kill people another kills softly and destroy life.
