We Did the same Mistake with british, we thought they are like friends , brother etc etc. Later they ruled us. So All Kannadiga should be alert not to do the same mistake with tamil, they wont think to ask for seperate country! later on.

Karunandhi tried to sit on the issue but the opposition including BJP, Tamil Nadu unit and Jayalaithaa speared headed the pressure on him, while BJP, Karnataka unit tries to milk the issue for votes. The BJP, Karnataka unit forgets it was it was their former partner, JD(S) - who in 1998 signed an agreement with Tamil Nadu on the project.
The games political parties play for votes is disgusting!
