I am not writing this message as a tamil but as an Indian. India is a diverse country and everyone is free to live and work anywhere. There are millions of tamils who live in Mysore and Bangalore. You cant forget Salem and Dharmapuri the border districts of TN-Kar have millions of Kannadigas. In fact in Salem town the population is split 50/50. In Chennai 30% of the population is telugu, 5-8% marwaris, 5-8% malayalees and various other communities. People say Chennai is not cosmopolitan but its only a misconception. Millions of Indians have migrated to different parts of the country regardless of language, religion or communities. It is the true spirit of India and as Gandhi had said we should live as an example to the world. Politicians have run out of ideas and are using son of the soil card to get votes. This is creating violence in Maharashtra and now in Karnataka. If they manage to win votes then every political party in India will start playing the son of the soil card and divide people. Who is a localite in India? From kashmir to Kanyakumai and Gujrat to Nagaland it belongs to all Indians. Every indian is a localite anywhere in India. Dont fall prey to political games of politicians to capture power. Soon there will be 30 coutries within India which is very dangerous to all our lives. With regards to this Hogenakal issue, the river crosses the karnataka border and the dam is built inside the TN state. If the water flows from TN to Karnataka then it is wrong.

Hello Natesh, See we need to understand local sentiments. If they will get ignored in progress , there will be riots. it's everybody duty to understand local people. It can not be digest on the name of India is one country and we are having freedom. This law is not enough to keep country united. People like us when we go to other places we must not give advantage to our own state people but to everyone and prefer local people so there will not be any problem. If we are Indian we should not have problem. Even I seen General managers, top govt officials doing regional bias.. It's not only politicians.... So we must mingal with local people.....This is good solution....

Well said. The concept of kannadigas, tamilians, naharashtrians etc... is a clear political divide & rule concept for votes. Lets be united as Indians.

Jai Hind!!!

This scenario is a pure political stir created by politicians on linguistic divide & rule among us. All these dramas are by politicians to ensure that they win the next elections. So lets not be carried away by these political dramas. First of all we should forget if we are tamilians or kannadigas or maharashtrians... We are Indians. Next we are human beings with rich Indian Culture. Lets be united & keep away from these cheap tricks. UNITED WE STAND, DIVIDED WE FALL !!!

Dear Mr.Natesh,
Pls understand and analyse the problem where it lies. It is the CM of a responsible state like TN , who is making very kiddish and irresponsible statements and there by provoke the sentiments of the Kannadigas. For his that experiance , one can analyse what will be his intensions.Tell from your heart being keep aside you being a TAMILIAN, think like a INDIAN, is his moves are defendable? You say that many Kannadigas also live in TN , but you appriciate the understandings of Kannadigas, they never put forth and force thier own Kannada culture or Language to be run in forefront, but where as in Bangalore/Karnataka One can watch freely TAMIL movies, TAMIL Hoardings , TAMIL Cable Channels in prime band. Can you just show me a same to be reciprocated in TAMIL NADU? its my own experiance that, couple of times when i went to TN on trip in my CAR with KA registration number , co-drivers on TN road and Police without any reason harrased me , by come in front or stop without reason !!! how narrow minded they are!! SO, i feel People of TN in broad need to get education properly on how to live in a REPUBLICAN country like INDIA. If possible i advice people like you to take care of that. Even today many techies from TN got sheltered in Bangalore and living Happily...ask all there opinion, why are not they get proper Jobs in TN ???
