Pests of India
by Janakiraman R on Apr 01, 2008 05:24 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

The electorate of West Bengal and Kerala are to be blamed for having elected these pests to Parliament. Having around 50 seats, they hold Government to ransom and block good deals like Nuclear deal. They never say a word agains China whether China criticises Prime Minister for visiting Arunachal - a part of India or for the brutality on Tibetians.

Theses pests are one of the main reasons for India not growing as fast as it can.

Have u heard any interview of BJP (where it says its) opposing the deal. The BJP is also in favour of US and India collaboration for vast spectrum of things. This is not possible with (collaboration) with Russia or China. And one more thing since US and India are great democratic countries, better performace can be expected.

Well the point here is not that BJP is great or something. Left always gives feelers that its anti-development and china biased. This is a known fact. BJP on its part is indulging in petty politics of votebank here. However Left inspite of its clout is holding the government to ransom by blackmailing.
