Old woman tortured and beaten to death
by Bodh Ramdeo on Sep 26, 2007 06:31 PM   Permalink

Why have the case been registered under the Witchcraft prevention Act? This was a clear case of kidnapping, assault, brutal torture and battry amounting to murder in the first degree?
And who is this "powerful person" the media refuses to identify? Bihar is still a totally backward, feudal state, more suited to the 12th century than the 21st century.
It goes on to say 'no arrests has been made yet', even though the police know the 'powerful person' in whose house this heinous barbaric act of torture and murder took place. How much more depraved can this stinking filthy society get?
