The Islamic Law is right choice to keep women in safe and prevent men from committing such a uncivilized activity. As a normal spectator, no one can realize the need of such a great law unless their family member is victimized in this.

I second this. People who cannot control themselves should be controlled artificially. But care should be taken while implementing this so, even if there is a slight doubt, such a judgment should not be passed against someone.

Yes, exactly, well said. We need severe Capital punishment or Death penalty or Stonned to Death penalty to these kind of rapists and murderers. Ban all the human rights activities and intellectuals who are shouting to save these criminals from Capital punishment/Death penalty.

Unfortunately, islam lays the blame for all social ills on the woman. According to Islam (as per Saudi Arabian social laws and what many of the imams say) a woman who is NOT in a burqa is "asking to be raped."
Also, a wom%uFFFDs testimony is worth nothing islam countries - in order for a rapist to be prosecuted, there has to be three witnesses who can back the woman's story (one has to only look at Pakistan and see the plight of women who are raped, and the kind of 'justice' they receive in the hands of law).
So, justice for women under islam is out of the question!
Just good old fashioned capital punishment for the rapist should suffice!

why islamic? There are so many countries in the world where islamic laws are not in practice. Arent' they run efficiently. In Afghanistan, under Taliban's rule, school buses were having stones in the place of wheels. That is the state of affairs.
