Think about the actual issue
by Ciby John on Oct 04, 2007 01:49 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

It is very sorry to note that people are fighting over the wrong issue. The reason is that the politicians have diverted our attention over the religious aspect and trying to divert us from the actual issue. The real issue is whether we need the sethusamudram project itself. What is the purpose and whom is it going to serve? None. It is a sheer wast of public money by a bunch of stupid politicians who want to rake in some money out of the project. Whether Ram is a reality or not is a matter of faith. If one believes it he/she stands for it and not at the whims and fancy of other peoples comments.

Get into the real aspect friends, these so called fellows are trying to waste the public money on a wasteful project, not 10 or 20 it is Rs. 2500 crores and there will be maintence cost again additionally which will work out to around 50-100 crores every year. There will be no benifit to the shipping companies in any manner, instead it will only increase the cost for them and hence whom are they building it for. Your hard earned money accumulated through various taxes are being eated away by the politicians. Don't get carried away but the religious provacations.

It isn't a wrong issue! Its true that the project is a waste. It is also linked with faith of so many Hindus. No Indian govt would dare to destroy something that links to another religion. Then, why Ramasethu?
