Pravin thogadia for whatever he may be , wheather fanatic or not , he has a point of argument when he says that nobdoy could disprove the existence of RAM the lord. Govt of India spent lot of money on excavations on all the sites mentioned in the epic Ramayan. I listened to the sahara interview of this archiologist who says that they found evidence of some kind in every area the exacavation was done. This includes "Rama sethu" as well because this bridge between Lanka and India do exist for all of us to see presently submerged. Now you can not prove that it was not built by Lord Ram. According to M.J.Akbar , the architect was the Nakula son of Vishawakarma. And Lord Ram ordered it according to Ramayan. History goes so far as Indus valley civilization and not beyond that. Indus civilization was such an advanced stage, we all know and the human civilazation did exist much beyond Indus. Historical record is a written proof and it started somewhere before Alexander the great. You can not prove historically that Lord Buddha and Lord Mahavira existed because their teachings etc., were written only at least 15 generations later. You can not prove the Vedas were sung orally by divine beings and not humans. Vedas were written on a medium only very recently at about the time of Buddhist preachings were written. Karunanidhi's political ambitions are well known and he has no moral integrety to question Lord Rama.

The existance of Lord Buddha and Lord Mahavira can NOT be proved by historical records that they really existed. I hope this makes sense for you because you will able to understand even if you happen to have a very low IQ.
