Very sad that we Hindus and Indians think that all the technologies that are mentioned in the vedas and ancient Indian scriptures are just considered as fiction and are written off. But the US people have taken them up seriously and have built various technologies. And they ahve developed lot of medicines even. I can a give a lot of examples. You know why? Because they all believed that Ancient India is full of wisdom. And one more thing - I recently presented my paper in the HFSA, washington. And there was another Prof DR. Barrie, who presented an interesting paper, and he said that BELIEF is very esssential for any nvention. They have believd our scriptures and they have progressed and we have not believed in our seolves and the progress is very slow.

Ya george! I rad that info and infact in the library of Syracuse Univ there are translaitons of all Vedic texts. Including the vimana shastra. And i hope very soon the info will be available publicly. And believe me ther are real scientists working on the Hindu/Vedic religion and soon this will begin the real Good era for India and its sciences.

What a load of crap? Wright Brothers did not read vedas to develop airplane. Retrofitting current inventions to old science fictions (like the vedas) does not make the scripture progrssive..(sic!)
Stop patting your back for something written in 500BC (according to wikipedia) and start doing something now! Prof Dr. Barrie did not believe in vedas....rather probably believed in HIMSELF
