Karuna has two living wives

1) Dayalu Ammal - 3 sons - Stalin , Alagiri and one more .

2) Rajathi Ammal : 1 Daughter Kanimozhi - he gave her MP post

This is an illegal act can be easily proven in court he can be dislodged from CM Post and be jailed.

The Hindu Marraige act was changed later.. I beleive before the changes, marriages were not registered and polygamy was allowed..

You are right. There was no law pertaining to marriage in Hinduism till 1948. Polygamy was very common earlier. There are no restrictions in the religion for polygamy.
