it can be observed that some brahmins are using unbecoming language.

it was earlier observed during the release of the movie periyar.

can any of these people state whether any brahmin came to any physical harm during the rationalist movement.

the white lies spread by these people only brings disrepute to their community.

the brahminical order which was suffocating the people was dismantled by the legendary leadership of periyar.

there was no acrimony against the brahmins.

they are a caste like any other in tamilnadu today.

the dmk has not been trying to spread atheism.

these people are trying to belittle the achievements of periyar and karunanidhi by their comments.

these types of comments only serve to strengthen stereotypes.

it might not be easy for these people to accept that the brahmin community was under the spotlight.

the type of opposition that the rationalist movement encountered can be seen by the nature of these comments.

i hate to ask this,but guys speaking about persecution should reveal whether there were any casualties during the rationalist movement.

the brahminical order was unjust and perverse.

it was dismantled by the legendary leadership of periyar.

the brahmins are well respected and well liked by society.

people like mgrfan are trying their best to change it by spreading falsehood.

there have been separatist movements from punjab to assam to dargeeling and other places in the north east.

was there any violence in the so called separatist movement in tamilnadu that u quote?

Out of 60 years of independance DMK was in power for only 16 years (with so much discontinuation in between). What achievement? All DMK politicians filled their coffers and made the common man big fool. Periyar hated Ram in public and at home he was having a Ram temple and worshipping the same. Same way Karuna talk aethism and he is having Ganesh temple at his home. Know the truth and talk. Dont pay heed to politics of these guys.
