It is not in Hindu Culture to issue fatwas,so Vedanti should take back his words.But what about great Tamil culture of DMK.Since the controversy was started by the Chief Minister, he should withdraw his statements publicly and put an to this matter of faith. there is no point in his daughter saying a TV channel that her father was quoted out of context. If DMK thinks that it is below their dignity, they should be rady to face court action. Let us see how the courts interpret the secular Constitution against Karunanidhi's provocative statements which hurt the beliefs of crores of people and causing communal tension.
