Anyway, who came with this figure of 17 lakh years? So missionaries and leftist will say Ramayana took place 1500 BC, because according to bible, earth was formed 4000 years back and sun revovles around earth. Now, leftists say 17 lakh years back Lord Rama was there.

And we belive Ram is not in our history and we still exist in India and as Hindu -- Now if you dont want us to belive in what we know --- What you want us to do -- And FYI India was not one single country before and not all of them had same history and belief. If Ramsetu was in Afghanistan and they were destroying it, probably we couldn't have done much !
However since we are living in a integrated country, where if the borders of Kashmir are not secure the cascading effect will be felt down till hyd/chennai/blore ! .. hence anything that affects Hindu sentiments anywhere in India does have its impact on all TRUE followers of Hinduism !
