I am quoting from Swami Vivekananda's words (the Great Saint of the modern Era who represented Hinduism in the Parliament of Religions) compiled in "To the Youth of India". And before doing so I would like to narrate a small episode form This Great Saint's life. He possessed lots of extr-ordinary qualities and powers and was a great Instrument of God. He was a Drashta (seer) who had saved a 7 year old child in the US from drowning in the Atlantic (and this happenned when Swami was in INDIA still) and when He went to the US the child recognized The Swami and accepted HIm as his Guru. BUt then Swami told this child that His guru will come later to him and that His Guru would give him a kamadalu and that's how he's gonna recognize His Guru. And after 36 years went Paramahamsa Yogananda and gave this chld (who was then 43 year old adult) the promised Kamandalu and this child found HIS Guru. This is just one of the incidents which happenned. And we all know that This grat Saint had photographic memory and so on and so forth. And This great saint told us all that India was the Aryavartha, which means "Habitat of Aryans", from times immemorial. They never came from anywhere. And if someone claims himself to be Dravidians they are just the offsprings of deons called Ravana. And btw I am from Andhra Pradesh but I know that I am an Aryan. I am trying to tell my brothern in teh South that we all are Aryans. And we all need to unite against these anti-Indian elements. Thanks to VHP

I am very much wondered the way people are getting divided language wise, region wise, and religion wise because of one issue. But as I have been reading the messages posted in this forum for the past 3 days, It seems that India is united only in cricket and map. Otherwise, it is clear this country has already started to crack in the minds of not uneducated but educated people. Beware my friends, if an uneducated fellow does something wrong it will be an immediate effect, but educated persons ill thoughts are slow and steady poison to the society. For one person's remarks on a religion, where comes the comparision of tamil, telugu, kattabomman, film stars, north, south, malayalis and all other things. It is a shame on us. We all talk with a masked face. Most of the people are abusing the tamil community as a whole. What will happen in the future with tamil community prevailing in Srilanka and LTTE. The other people are pushing the tamils slowly to dangerous position for asking a separate country. For Karunanidhi, who is at the doorsteps of death, you people are scolding a large section of people. Very soon, Tamilnadu will become another Assam if this continues, since I had worked in Guwahati and I knew how terrorism got there. I see the same situation rising now after this incident. It is for everyone now to decide whether tamilnadu has to be in India or not? Or else, say something positive and constructively, not the way VHP is doing now.

Hinduism is known for its humanity. If that is true how can a VHP leader say that. If he is really so religious, what prevented him and the political outfit of the sangh parivar, BJP from protesting against having an alliance with karunanidhi earlier, because karunanidhi is known to make these type of psychomaniac comments from the day he entered to politics. Despite cutting his head, it would be better to put him off the power with the help of people. Because he likes the CM post more than any thing in the world to earn money for his 100 generations. If he was threatened to be removed from power, he will immediately become a hindu more than anyone. If VHP and others want to earn some popularity and votes with the help of this issue then it will be sad and we can do nothing but wait and watch the demise of india. Let us hope all ends well

Veerapandian Kattabomman's forefathers are from Andhra and their mothertongue is Telugu. Go read History Schmuck. Telugu is the second most widely spoken language in India and more than 1/3rd of your Tamilnadu is populated with Telugu people, settled there for the past few centuries, including Karunanidhi, Vaiko, Vijaykanth, the list is endless. We rule South India without noise. You Tamil stupid will not know that.

by the way, for those who are under the influence of the so called "ARYAN INVASION THEORY" and Aryan supremacy and so on, here's where it can be misquoted and misunderstood. When Swami vivekananda said Habitat of Aryans, he meant Habitat of Good People. becasue "Arya" in sanskrit means a Good HUman being as mentioned in the vedas. So, classifying our population based on region and skin colour is baseless. The context has to be understood when we quote some great personality like the Swami. this theory of Aryan and dravidian was a plot by max meuller who was the creator of this theory in undermining our own great culture by saying that we came from outside India and are outsiders. This was done to facilitate the conversions to make India a christian domain as they have managed to do in the rest of the world. Unfortunately, the people who have stagnated their knowledge from the 80's textbooks are still stuck with their views and argue based on that. Grow up! Karunanidhi is a parasite who is sucking his people's blood and promoting cultural suicide. he has communist views, quite evident from his naming his son as Stalin (a mass murderer who was the cause for killing of 20 million russians in his time.) It's high time something is done and VHP is taking the right step with Karunanidhi.

Let us not call ourselves Aryans. Let us call ourselves Indians and Indic peoples. or SOUTH ASIANS if you want to go by a racial definition. This will be an all encompassing "Samyukta" concept which will include people from Srilanka, Nepal, Pakistan and Bangladesh also. FACT: It is impossible for an American to tell if a person is from either of the above countries if he just meets us without asking our name.
I have seen many Sri-Lankans, Pakistanis, Bangladeshis and Nepalis being asked the question "Are you from India ?" by people in Singapore and America.
