I do not see the particular word 'fatwa' being used by VHP. They have strongly criticized Karunanidhi but the word 'fatwa' seems to be 'inserted' by the journalist to add some spice. The media these days is really irresponsible.
And by the way, I do not support any extreme fundamentalist religious zealots of any religion.

for long time hindus have believed that english language media has been highly prejudicial against any thing related to hinduism .one mr praful bidawi regularly writes for pakistani news papers .mr h. k. dua who at one time was press liason officer for vajpai is biggest chamcha of upa govt and seldom misses an oppotunity to spew venom against hindus .such people are at the helm of affairs in media in india .this shows their character and integerity .how can you blame scum like cm of tamilnadulet them uttar a single word agaist muhammud they will not reach their homes in one piece i understand he has named his son as stalin. with such knowledge if they abuse lord rama ia no surprise pehaps he should change his name to raksha ravana
