Great ! .. only Humans can reason ! and not any other animal
All living beings engage in 4 common activities
- Eating
- Mating
- Defending
- Sleeping
What Human has is the power to reason.
And that reasoning power is given to Man as per scriptures to ask questions like you are asking ... who am I ... who is God ...
First pls know that you are the Soul ! .. yes you are the Soul who is given Human body according to your good Karma in the past lives so that you get a platform to reason out abt yourself and God.
And Soul is a part and parcel of the Supersoul, and it is natural for the PART to look out for the WHOLE.... as simple as ... when you light a flame it always points towards the Sun !

That is exactly my point is. We are not enlighten enough to understand complex question of God. Never theless we created this idea of religion, miracles and superheros all over the world - you know why? So that animal within us will die and we will more of human and sane.
It hurts when people defeat the purpose of religion by inciting hate and blood shade in the name of God. BTW - I respect all religions and belief - As human we are lucky that we have so many of them
Exactly, but it is people who are using religion to kill each other.
This is not the first time it has happened in the history of earth.
Ok I dont want to give you concepts I'm not sure you know,.. but your questions are good so let me tell you ...
It is Kaliyuga, the last in the cycle of 4 yugas, it is the age of Quarrel and Hipocricy. It is exactly happening as predicted in Bhavishya Puran and in Bhagwatam. The person behind this is 'MahaMaya', she is doing it under the direction of the Supreme. The purpose is to make people ask questions like you are asking. Some people ask it due to frustration, some people ask it coz they want just seek knowledge, and coz they already are enlightened and they know this earth is not their eternal home !
