I think before we judge someone, especially leaders and people in Public service, we need to ask ourselves some questions,
- What has this man/woman contributed to society ? - Are things better now than they were before he/she came into power ? - Are his followers better off now that they were before his leadership ? - Is the Nation better off financially, morally or ethically because of this person ?
Sadly, for me Mr. Thakarey has not contributed much to society to be a leader or be proclaimed as a Great Leader.
He is a chapter that will be forgotten with time and maybe remembered for being devisive.
Sad end to someone who could have contributed to society.

Shastri, If that is your goal and if that is what you are expecting from your leaders, then you have already LOST.
I am not happy with my community and their priorities. But that does not mean I support people like Mr. Tharakay. I want the Muslim Community to be part of the mainstream. Sadly you do not seem to be part of that mainstream.

Agree with you on almost everything but the solution. As I said, I am not particularly pleased with my Community. But the SOLUTION is not to alienate them, but to bring them into our mainstream so that they have a stake in this country.
I see that you seem to easily link all Muslims to Pakistan. I am an Indian and happy to be one. You like it ot not. I don't give a Damn !!!

You are right bro. Only Dawood Ibrahim, Chhota Shakeel, Abu Salem etc will be remembered for their greatest contribution to the the society.
