Statement does not show quality of wisdom expected from Jyoti Basu, unless he is hinting at some secret magic of inviting foreign investments with promise of zero return - only give all your money and leave empty handed. That is possible by manipulating - Stock Scams, Gambling, Extortion, Blackmail, drug trade, illegal arm sales, piracy, robbery, list goes on. Not long ago China was famous for openly violating international patents and copyrights.

All along they know their tactic dont work. They gave it a try. It is failing misrabley. Above all they realized they don't have a chance in the next election if they dont change the tune. All these factors made them to sing a different tune now. Now they are in the process of fine tuning. Our people need job for that we need good investments. Go take a close look at Gulf nations. That will tell you why our young people are struggling to go there to find work. Why our citizens have to come to that level? Cuz of our wrong economic and foregin policy .Guess, who's the biggest investors in Gulf countries? US, EU, Ausies, and Japan.And they are close allies of the West and the US. Mr.Basu knows that very well , cuz his own country "China" having a great business relation with the US and Europe. Mr.Karat, Raja and the rest of the idiots are in Lala land. Well, nice to know somebody is seeing the light at the end of the tunel.
