why so much hype?
by Karthika S on Sep 20, 2007 01:00 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

Sunita has achieved something that no woman has ever had the chance to do before. But why so much hype evenmonths later?? She has done her duty & gets paid for it.
Better to social workers & people who do community service work in such depth.

Well, it's the "phoren" and more so "America" factor. Now watchout; until she takes the flight back home, the media will track her every movement, updates us with whatever she does, eats how many samosas, what she says, her reactions about Indian soceity, Hindu religion, the Gita, Ganesha, blah blah and what not!
