Violence in A.M.U
by someshwar singh on Sep 19, 2007 09:30 AM   Permalink

What happened in A.M.U is nothing new. It has happened in the past also. In fact, its not only A.M.U but university campuses throughtout the country is being ruled by rowdy students unions. Hardcore criminal, in the mask of the students, has taken over the university campuses in the country. All these students unions and so called students are affiliated to or supported by some political parties or other. The actual students have no say in these matters. They are only a mild spectators. Can I ask the students a question: Was the V.C. behind the murder of Mazhar Nayeem? If not, then why the students have burnt his house. The entire system needs a introspection. The students, the professors, the V.C., all of them must unite and unitedly they must fight against this kind of act and disallow any political or religious party inside the campus.
