Religion is based on belief
by VIJAYA BUDDHIRAJU on Sep 18, 2007 09:08 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

Religion is based on belief only-not on the History. Historically, Rama might never have existed or even existed-it does not matter. What sticks to the mind is the spirit of the actions of the character Rama and Sita as portrayed by sage Valmiki. This set a moral code for the Hindu society.
Because there is no proof of Allah, if you demolish a mosque you are in for it. The resistance from people like me comes not based on the historical evidence, the double standards that this government could so easily implement and get away, and has been getting away. If it is a Hindu monument or temple, it can be controlled and its revenues could be plundered and distributed any which way by govt. appointed agencies-when it comes to Church or Mosque, autonomy prevails.
If you base the belief in History, Koran has to be banned because it preaches the brutal elimination of Kafir. That is just one of the punishments that holy book prescribes to the people. How come they have no balls to question other religions-and so courageously attack only Hindu beliefs? Treat every one same then Ram sethu is yours to talk about. But even if it is not built by Rama or Krishna, it is a historic natural wonder to be kept alive.

Whether koran is told by allah or writeen by some vested interest people after death of prophet mohd should be told by supreme court.

There is no Aryan or Dravidian. It is your myth not mine. I do not believe this nonsense of Aryan invasion of Dravidian. One can use the word Dravidian to say south Indian and that is all. You brought this nonsense. There is not shred of evidence for this Aryan bull.
Regards elephant head and all that no one is asking you do any thing. Try the stunt with other religion and see the result.
What I said is religion basically is illogical, it is belief-that brings people together. You guys use to divide.
