Even idols can be installed in houses. Moreover idols of different godes and godesses could be bought at cheap rate from bazar. Then why the temples are needed?. It is true that namas can be performed in open fields. But what will be done if there is rain, snow and hot sun?. Will anyone agree for a large gathering of people in ones residens? That is why a mosque is needed.

ha ha ha I have not seen any mosque where the whole area where namaj is being offered is has a ceiling, your logic is silly
