This is roughly the message I sent to the honourable PM of India on this matter:
"Faith is big. Safeguarding the Faith of the people is one of the biggest responsibilities of the Government, elected by the same people. There is no archeological or scientific evidence for Faith. In denying Ram, only to further a construction plan, you have undermined the trust that a vast majority of our population has placed in your Government. Would the proposed plan still go ahead if the religion in question was that of one of the minority communities of our Country?"
Ofcourse I am not expecting a reply, but I thought I would share it with others.
